The EEPROM dump appears as an array of hexadecimal characters. Three hex values are notable that are key_code (key_code), the key_count (key_count) and the V_ARG_ENABLED. It is necessary to change all other Hex values to 00 to “virginize” the chip. Once you do this, you can flash the chip and restore its functionality. Ignition Method This method uses another key to activate the car's system. It isn't applicable to all vehicles however it is possible to reset the key fob if it's not working properly or the battery is dying. It is also possible to reset the key fob if the buttons have been hit hard (a common cause of this is people trying to press down the unlock button a few times). The sensor sends an indication to the key's internal coil that then responds by sending an indication to the sensor. If the sensor detects this, the car unlocks itself and can turn on the interior lights, if set up to do this. Even the older keyless entry systems come with an older-fashioned backup. If the remote isn't working it is still possible to manually open the driver's door. You can do this by sliding the blade away or, in certain models, by pressing a button in the pocket. This method is especially useful if you've lost your key or if the battery has gone out. Remote Control Method If you've just bought a remote control and it isn't working in your vehicle it could be because the seller didn't have programmed it to work with your vehicle.
